Bonita "Bonnie" Rae Pryor (nee Houff), 65, of Vermilion, died , Friday, January 20, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. Bonnie was born October 4, 1946 in Lorain, OH, she had been a Vermilion resident for the past 62 years moving from Lorain. She graduated from Vermilion High School in 1965. She worked for Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermilion as a administrative assistant for 20 years, retiring in 2009. Bonnie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the choir, bells, Sunday school, youth group and vacation bible school. Bonnie an avid quilter and seamstress, was a member of the Lorain County Piece Makers and Vermilion Sit and Stitch. She was 4-H club advisor and member of Commander Perry Antique Car Club. She enjoyed stitching, camping, baskets making and many crafts. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dan Pryor, daughters, Maudy (Lee) Paden of Vermilion, Nicole (Shawn) Hamilton of Louisville, KY,and Jessica (Ryan) Cady of Venice, FL, grandchildren, Madison & Kipten Paden, Stewart & Morgan Hamilton, Jack and Riley Cady, brother, Larry (Gundula) Houff of Vermilion, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonathan & Suzette (nee Bird) Houff. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3747 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion with the Pastor Mark Bogen and Reverend John Paulus co-officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery.
