Bonnie Lue Cooksey (nee Graham), 79, of Florence Township, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003 in Norwalk Memorial Home after a lengthy illness. She was born October 5, 1924 in Scottsville, KY. She was a 45 year resident of Florence Township moving from Lorain. She had worked as a cook at Brady's Restaurant in Lorain and McGarvies Restaurant in Vermilion. She was a member of Vermilion VFW Post # 7576 Auxiliary. She enjoyed garage sales, quilting and cooking. She is survived by her husband Leonard B. Cooksey to whom she was married of 54 years; 2 daughters; Beatrice Squire of Lansing, MI and Barb Cooksey of Huron; 3 sons, Garland Cooksey of Huron, Noah Cooksey of Englewood, CO and Alven Cooksey of Huron; and 1 grandchild. She was preceded in death by 2 children; sister, Nemola Cornwell and her parents. Friends may call Friday 1-3 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Saturday, October 25, 2003, at 10 am. Kate Marcum, minister of the Kipton Community Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion..
