Bonnie Montgomery

Bonnie Jean Montgomery (nee Lockard), 69 of Lorain, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 in the Villa Angela Nursing Home, Columbus. She was born April 6, 1933 in Mingo County, WV and moved to Lorain in 1956. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Lorain. Mrs. Montgomery was a former member of the Ladies Democratic Club of Erie County and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, and bowling. Survivors include 3 Daughters, Linda Alberts of Spencer, WV; Ruth Clawson of Spencer, WV; and Rebecca Deaton of Avon Lake, OH; 3 Sons, David Montgomery of Avon Lake, OH; Charles Montgomery of Lorain, OH; and Freddie Montgomery of Lorain, OH , 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 4 Sisters, Shirley Coleman of Columbus, OH; Glenita Price of Alabama; Peggy Shermer of Flordia; and Doris Pack of Delbarton, WV; 2 Brothers, Willard Lockard of Delbarton, WV; and Millard Locard of Vancouver, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband Robert Montgomery in 1989, parents, Homer and Sarah (nee Smith) Lockard, 4 sons: Ronald, Homer, Michael, and William Montgomery; sister, Hermie Jo Puffenbarger; and two granddaughters. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeal Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, on Wednesday March 19, 2003 at 11 am with the Rev.__________ Officiating. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
