Brian Scott Baldwin , 42, of Vermilion, died Friday, January 13, 2017. He was born August 23, 1974 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Brian worked as a carpenter for various construction companies including Lake Erie Shores Contracting LLC for the past three years. He enjoyed cooking, playing pool, and spending time with his family. Brian was a true outdoorsman, also enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, and riding Atv's. He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Linda (nee Weaver) Baldwin of Ripley, WV; daughters, Mallory Baldwin of Fremont, Cassidy Baldwin of Lorain, and Zoe Baldwin of Lorain; son, Wyatt Baldwin of Lorain; granddaughter, Evelynn Gooding; sister, Ginny Frost of KY; paternal grandmother, Virginia Speckhart; maternal grandfather, Carl Weaver; and friends, Sarah Baldwin of OR and Lisa Butcher of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Speckhart and maternal grandmother, Clara Weaver. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion Ohio. Pastor Josh Budka will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
