Brian Kent Shroyer

Brian Kent Shroyer, 56, of Huron, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born January 1, 1959 in Elyria and had been a Huron resident for the past 6 years moving from Vermilion. Brian worked as a Truck Driver for R&J Trucking. He enjoyed boating and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Victoria (nee Grove) Shroyer; daughter, Sarah (Daniel Boyd) Shroyer of Cincinnati; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Maners of Berlin Heights; brothers, Ray Shroyer of Waxhaw, NC and Dennis Shroyer of Iowa; and many nephews and nieces including Ammi Buga of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. and Merrelda (nee Urban) Shroyer and a brother, Roy Shroyer. The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of a memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH.
