Brian Gregory Trocchia, 45, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Brian was born in Zanesville, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 35 years. Brian worked for Domino's Pizza for several years. He loved fantasy football, online gaming, superheroes, and role playing with his friends. He also enjoyed drawing, watching the Cleveland Cavs, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, and hanging out with his friends and family. He wrote several books that were published. He is survived by his parents, Gregory and Jean (nee Deedrick) Trocchia; brother, Frank Trocchia of Fairlawn; and nephew Nico Trocchia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Frances (nee Finley) Deedrick; paternal grandparents, Frank and Louise (nee Wharton) Trocchia; and uncle Robert Deedrick,. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Closing prayers will be Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion, Ohio.
