Brooke A. Adams

Brooke A. Adams, 13, of Vermilion, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born November 17, 2005 in Lakenheath, England and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 10 years. Brooke was an 8th grade student at Vermilion High School where she was involved in the Choir and acted as the manager of the Volleyball team. Brooke enjoyed photography, art, dancing, music, volleyball, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality. Brooke is survived by her mother, Kylee Merkel of Vermilion; father and step-mother, John and Andrea Adams of Arizona; brother, Quinton Adams; sisters, Kadence Merkel and Addyson Adams; step brothers, London Barone and Lennon Barone; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Carleen Merkel; paternal grandparents, Douglas and Susan Mackey; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend David Johnson will officiate. Private interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
