Calvin Phillips

Calvin C. Phillips, 86, of Fairchance PA formerly of Brunswick, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Horizon Personal Care in Fairchance PA. Calvin was born April 18, 1926 in Point Marion, PA and had been a Brunswick resident for 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Calvin worked for Ford Motor in Cleveland for 30 years in the foundry. He had also worked in the Pennsylvania coal mines after his Army service. . He is survived by his children, Evelyn, Pamela, Calvin, Jr. and Daniel; his sister, Donna M. Hobart of Vermilion and brother, James Phillips of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. and Evelyn (nee Cottington) Phillips; wife, Ladonna (nee Hodel); brothers, William and Kenneth Phillips, sisters, Wanda Kriner and Faye Burich. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio. Reverend Louis Bertoni will officiate. Military honors will be conducted..
