Carl T. Sturdivant

Carl T. Sturdivant, 61 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born November 12, 1944 in Trosper, KY and has been an Vermilion area resident for the past 25 years. He worked at Ford Motor Co., Lorain on the assembly line for 26 years retiring in 1992. He had enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. Survivors include 4 brothers, Don R. Sturdivant of Ashtabula, OH, Willie Sturdivant of Covington , KY, Joe Robert Sturdivant of Gray, KY, and Lonnie Sturdivant of Trosper, KY; 3 sisters, Joyce Love of Mansfield, Lynn Sturdivant of Polk, OH, and Jean Skaggs of Gray, KY, and many nieces and nephews . Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe and Nola (nee Bays) Sturdivant and sister, Chloe Sturdivant. Private burial will take place at Coon Branch Cemetery, Trosper, KY at a later date.
