Carol Jo Adams

Carol Jo Adams (nee Hrejsa), 71, of Huron, started her eternal life Monday, October 1, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center Main Campus after a sudden illness. She was born December 15, 1946 in Highland Park, IL and had been a Vermilion area resident for the past 18 years moving from Rantoul, IL. Carol worked with her daughter as a florist at Tiffany's in Vermilion. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion. She enjoyed collecting angels, spending time with her family, hummingbirds, and her dog, Ivy. She will be remembered for her strong faith and her great sense of humor. She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany (Marty) Sekeres of Huron and Tonya Adams of Waterville; son, Eddie (Katie) Young of Vermilion; grandchildren, Jasmine, Nolan, Camden, and Madison Young; brother, Joseph Hrejsa of Chicago and her sisters, Judith Sebelik of Chicago and Barb Procuniar of Seattle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Adams in 1983 and her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (nee Sales) Hrejsa. The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 from 4-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at 10:00 am followed by a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion.
