Carol Ann White

Carol Ann White (nee Kozel), 82, of Wakeman, died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness.

She was born September 10, 1940 in Lodi, OH and had been a Wakeman resident for the past  32 years moving from Amherst.

Carol worked as a accountant, bank teller, Clerk of Courts in LaGrange and owned her own tax business  for over 35 years retiring in 2020.

She enjoyed gardening, feeding wildlife, going to the casino, listening to Kenny Rogers, antiques, and being with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Andy (Michele) Tabol of Vermilion  and Tim  (Melissa) Tabol of KY; grandchildren, Jessica  (Adam) King, Tiffany (Steven), and Matthew Tabol; great grandchildren, Blake, Lucas, Shelby, Waylon, Michael, Hunter and Casey;  step children,  Elizabeth  Bado of Sheffield Lake,  Debbie  Young of SC and Jack  White, Jr.; and  step grandchildren, Kayla, Cassidy, Kyle Grace, Scott, Paul and Sarah.

She was preceded in death by her  husband, Jack White; parents, Stephen  and Julia (nee Kundradt) Kozel; her brothers, Steve  Kozel,  Chuck Kozel, and  Bob Kozel, and her sister, Marion Monroe.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 11 am until time of the funeral service at 12 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  The Dr. John  Jackson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
