Carol Sue Christopher

Carol Sue Christopher (nee Mouser), 75, of Lorain, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain after a lengthy illness. She was born June 13, 1940 in Independence, WV, and had been a Lorain resident since 1960 also living in Vermilion. Carol worked for Community Health Partners as a Multi-Skilled Environmentalist for 22 years retiring in 2001. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church Vermilion and the Madeline Chapter #204 Order Eastern Star. Carol enjoyed reading, hook rugs, and ceramics. She is survived by her sons, Dick Mouser of Vermilion and Wayne Allen (Jessica) Christopher of Nova; daughter, Judy Carol (Ken) Thompson of Amherst; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Elaine Clippinger of Vermilion; and brother, Robert A. Mouser of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verdun C. and Mary Madeline (nee Miller) Mouser; brother, Verdon Mouser; and sister, Donna Parks. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The Rev. Cliff Morris will officiate.
