Carole Ann Horseman

Carole Ann Horseman (nee Bodis), 52 of Vermilion, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born May 20, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 7 years moving from Elyria after her divorce. Carole graduated from Our Lady of Angels grade school and St. Joseph Academy high school. She attended Ohio University. She was a talented athlete through her entire school years. She worked at Ternes Manufacturing, in Michigan, and then as a Real Estate Agent before returning to college to pursue her Psychology Degree. She lived on Put-In-Bay and enjoyed traveling the surrounding islands, she was a boating enthusiast, a water skier, and she always had to be near the water. She attended concerts, and Country Jam concerts every year. She also enjoyed sewing and crafting. She followed all Cleveland sports and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Her true passion was being a loving mother and devoted her life to her two children and their many friends. She is survived by her son, Zachary William Horseman of Vermilion; daughter, Jamieson Brooke Horseman of Vermilion; mother, Bonnie M. Manco; sisters: Ellen Ann Bair, Kathleen J Sapsford, and Patty S Hydock; brother, Joseph E. Bodis; sisters; Michelle M. Rodgers, Mellissa M. Granzier, Megan M. Richmond, Marcie M. Manco (deceased); dear friends of William Hydock and Megan Tracey whom she considered a daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. Bodis and Mary Ellen (nee Carroll) Bodis The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:15 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Pastor John Jacobs officiating. Inurnment will take place at Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River at a later date.
