Carrie M. Neff

Carrie M. Neff, 42, of Lorain, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born September 18, 1978 in Amherst and had been a life long Vermilion and Lorain resident. Carrie was a licensed Dental Hygienist and had been working as a fabricator at Perry Fiberglass, Elyria for the past year. Carrie loved being with her family, especially during the holidays. Family game nights were very important to her. They always started with a homemade meal and ended after a late night of board games. Carrie was very creative and loved arts and crafts. She is survived by her daughters, Qiana Kurpely of Copperas Cove, TX, Victoria Brown of Lorain, and Mariah Carter of Windham; son, Noah Capers of Lorain; parents, Dennis L. Sr. and Patricia (nee Hudson) Pettry of Vermilion; sisters, Christina Pettry of Wellington and Lisa Pettry of Lorain; brothers, Michael Neff of Elyria, and George Neff of Chillicothe, Ohio and maternal grandmother, Mildred Hudson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis L Pettry, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Byrd and Edith Pettry; and maternal grandfather, Glyn Hudson Sr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2201 from 12 Noon until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate.
