Cecilia Margaret Fabrizio

Cecilia Margaret Fabrizio (nee Zappa ), age 99, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Bath Manor Nursing Home in Akron, OH where she had been a resident for the past 2 years, prior to that living with loving care with her daughter for 4 years. Cecilia was born November 27, 1911 in Glenco,OH, to the late Dominic and Josephine (Morosino) Zappa. She had been a Lorain resident for most of her life which she shared with her loving husband and family. . Cecilia was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, gardening,and music. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain . Cecilia is survived by her daughter Angeline Romeo of Akron; grandchildren Angelo Romeo, Ellen (Patrick Ziga), Carlo Romeo, Dominic Romeo, and from Lorain: Joseph Seroka Jr, Carol Myers (Seroka) Jeff Myers, Margie Hudacek (Seroka) Robert Hudacek, eight great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and son in law-Jospeh Seroka Sr. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Angelo Fabrizio, daughter Patricia Seroka, brother Premo Zappa, sisters Theresa Perisi, and Mary Krutkiewicz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 4th at the Catholic Church of St. Peter where the family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.The Reverend Fr. Craig Hovanec will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery , Lorain . In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Cecilia's memory to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are by Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.
