Charles "Jimmy" James Danser, 26, of Elyria, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at EMH Regional Medical Center after a lengthy struggle with drug addiction. He was born July 25, 1991 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion area resident. Jimmy graduated from Vermilion High School with the class of 2010. He also earned his Electrical Certificate from Ehove Career Center in 2010. He worked for Harvest Shores Rentals doing general maintenance, including electrical work, drywall, painting, and plumbing. He loved all sports, but especially enjoyed watching and talking about football and walking in the outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Audra (Marcus Scott) (nee Sigman) Howes of Vermilion; father, Charles H. Danser; grandparents, James and Karen Sigman of Vermilion and Charlie and Linda Danser of Amherst; brothers, Anthony and Joshua Danser both of Vermilion; sister, Alexis Danser of Vermilion; step brothers, Marc Howes of Avon and Lucas Howes of Norwalk; step sister, Patricia Howes of Elyria, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stephanie Marion (nee Mazur) Adams, and his uncle, Larry "Jay" Jaycox. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the time of a memorial service at 4:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Pastor Josh Budka will officiate.
