Charles "Charlie" A. Faulkner, 65, of Louisa, Kentucky, formerly of Vermilion, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born February 1, 1940 in Forest Hill, TN. He as been a Louisa, Kentucky resident for the past 4 years moving from Vermilion. He worked at the Lorain Ford plant as a paint repairman for 37 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member the Local # 425, enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 29 1/2 years, Laura (nee Slauter) of Louisa, KY; 2 daughters, Charla Johannsen of Vermilion and Belinda Maskiewicz of Largo, FL; 2 sons, Anthony Weis of Indianapolis, IN and Don Faulkner of Toledo; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his brother, Larry Faulkner of Wakeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Clara Mae (nee Tarrance) Faulkner; and a sister, Betty Mae Baldwin. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Saturday, October 1, 2005, at 11:00am. The Reverend Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, will officiate.
