Charles Robert Lehner

Charles Robert Lehner, 63, of Lorain died Friday, September 10, 2010 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness. Born July 3, 1947 in Delaware, Ohio he had been a Vermilion resident most of his life. Charles graduated from Vermilion High School in 1965. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves and had worked at Bettcher Industries as a salesman. He was a machinist at Harrison Manufacturing for 15 years and was an avid golfer. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Lehner of Vermilion; brother, John Lehner of Lorain; 2 nephews; 1 niece and 4 step sons, George, Rob, Mike and Tom Lehner. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ellis Lehner, March 1, 2009 and a brother, James H. Lehner on August 15, 2004. Friends may call Saturday, September 18, 2010 from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion Ohio. Chaplain Robert Chevalier of New Life Hospice will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
