Charles 'Buddy' Mckenzie

Charles "Buddy" McKenzie, 61 of Vermilion, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Toronto Canada, while on tour as a bus driver. Born June 6, 1949 in Washington DC, he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 16 years moving from Lorain. He was a bus driver for a private tour company transporting entertainers for their performances. He enjoyed home remodeling and was an expert bus and car repairman. He was a devoted father and husband. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Wanda (nee Marsh) of Vermilion, daughters, Jaclyn and Katelyn McKenzie both at home, Wendy Brilliant and Kessie McKenzie both of Baltimore, MD; 4 grandchildren and sisters Donna Huff of Upper Marlboro, MD and April Hall of Colonial Beach, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald McKenzie and parents, Donald and Geneva (nee Glascoe) McKenzie. Friends may call Monday, June 14, 2010 from 11 am until service time at 1 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Guy Morton, will officiate.
