Charles Henry Prince, 84, of Huron, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Providence Care Center after a brief illness.
Born February 10, 1941, in Pemiscot, Missouri; Charles made Vermilion his home in 1965. He retired after a long career as a trade welder at the Ford Automotive Plant, where he was respected for his skill and dedication.

In his free time, Charles could often be found in his garage tinkering, out in the yard enjoying the outdoors, or on his tractor. He was also an avid racing fan who loved the thrill of NASCAR and never missed a chance to watch or participate in a race.
Above all, Charles cherished his family. He is survived by his sons, Randy (Elaine) Prince and Jeffrey Prince; grandchildren, Jeriod (Stephanie) Prince and Cheyenee Prince; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Marissa, and Corah; and his brother, Billy Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haggard and Lillian Prince, and his siblings, Virginia Hitchcock, Larry Prince, and Gary Prince.
Private services will be held for the family.
