Charles "Chuck" Proctor, 58, of Elyria , died Monday, August 1, 2016 at MetroHealth Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born July 5, 1958 in Charleston, WV, and had been an Elyria resident for the past 9 years moving from Vermilion. Chuck worked as a truck driver for 30 years retiring from TNT Trucking in 2007. He had been a member of the Lorain County Coon Hunters Club and enjoyed shooting guns, muscle cars, car shows, riding motorcycles, and keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Glenda "Gale" Proctor of Elyria, sons, Jamie (Jessica) Proctor of Vermilion, Jason (Toni Thomas) Proctor of Vermilion, and David Koroski of Elyria; daughters, Sera (Anthony Barber) Proctor of Racine, Nicole Koroski of Lorain, and Cindy (Jack Barker) Koroski of Elyria; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Flash Gordon Proctor. The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 from 5:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
