Cheryl Ann Rettinger

Cheryl Ann Rettinger (nee Barbato), 58, of Littleton, CO, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Presbyterian/ St. Luke's Medical Center, Denver after a sudden illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 29, 1956 in Garfield Hts, OH, and had been a Littleton resident for the past 20 years, moving from Huntington Beach, CA. Cheryl worked as an account executive in the electronics distribution industry. Cheryl was a member of the Light of the World Catholic Parish, Littleton. She enjoyed decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a caring and devoted mother to her two boys. She is survived by her sons, Erich Rettinger of Denver, CO and Stewart Rettinger of Centennial, CO; and her mother, Johanna (nee Januszewski) Barbato of Vermilion; sister-in-law, Tammy Barbato; niece, Lauren Barbato and nephew, Derek Barbato. She was preceded in death by her father, Salvatore "Sam" J Barbato in 2013; and infant brother, Joseph Michael Barbato; and brother, Robert Dale Barbato. 　 A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Feb 26, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Light of the World Catholic Parish, 10316 W. Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO. 　 Friends may call Friday, February 28, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St, Vermilion, OH.
