Cleora Ann Yacobozzi (nee Hrdlicka), 98, of Vermilion, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Mill Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Cleveland, OH on January 18, 1924 to the late George and Lavina (nee Cramer) Hrdlicka, and graduated from Avon High School. During World War II, she moved to California and worked as a Rosie the Riveter to build fighter planes. Later she was employed as a seamstress for Joseph and Feiss Company in Lorain, OH. On August 7, 1948, she married John M. Yacobozzi, and they made their home in Vermilion. Cleora was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was also involved in several organizations, including the Vermilion-on-the-Lake Lot Owners Association, Vermilion Democratic Club, and the Eight Ball Dance Club. She enjoyed traveling with family. Cleo is survived by sons: Dean (Victoria) Yacobozzi and Dale (Lisa Jordan) Yacobozzi, both of Vermilion; grandchildren: Stacy Yacobozzi, Mark (Jennifer) Yacobozzi, Lisa (Todd) Boylan, Paul (Niki) Yacobozzi, Angela (Toby) Koeth; and great-grandchildren: Samuel, Madeline, and Henry Yacobozzi; Joshua, Brynn, and Kayla Boylan, Devan Yacobozzi, and Alexis and Maya Koeth. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Gerald Hrdlicka, and a sister, BernyceGalazka. The family will receive friends at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5-7pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:30 am followed by an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion, OH. Father Paul Schreiner will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G.
