Clinton C. King, 81, of Vermilion, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born September 29, 1935 in Pikeville, KY and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 15 years moving from Warren, OH and Pikeville, KY. Clinton retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Pikeville College (now known as the University of Pikeville), where he had worked for over 25 years. He had previously worked for Motts Inc., Williamson, NY. Clinton was an avid reader especially enjoying Westerns. He is survived by his daughter, Diana Greule of Palmyra, NY; nieces, Thelma (Alex) Chrjapin of Brunswick, GA and Molly (Douglas) Wilhelm of Foley, AL; great niece, Janelle "J" Spelich; and great-great nephew and niece, Timothy Lee and Cameron Sophia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda King in 2000; parents, Ezra and Florence (nee Gross) King; sister, Lucille Stepp-Hurst; and brothers, Audie, Augustine, and Kelly King.
