Daniel W Meyers

Daniel William Meyers, 74, of Vermilion, passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Main Street Care Center.

Dan served proudly in the 11th Calvary of the Army. He retired from General Motors after 31 years.

He was a very proud Dad, father-in-law, and G-Pa. He was a proud Vermilion Sailors fan, supporting his grandchildren. He was also a Cleveland Sports and Ohio State fan. He enjoyed family vacations in Orange Beach, Alabama and previously in Harbour Island, South Carolina. He loved cars and frequently visited his friends at Firelands Chevrolet in Vermilion.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol (nee Gee) Meyers; son, Dustin (Kristin) Meyers; grandchildren, Brock and Quinn Meyers; brothers David Meyers, Dennis (Kim) Meyers, Doug (Cindy) Meyers; sister, Susan Goodwin and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Germaine (nee Jones) Meyers; brother-in-law, George Perrine; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Meyers; niece Jenny Perrine; and many aunts and uncles.

Private services and a Celebration of Dan's life to be announced at a later date.
