Darlene Hogan

Darlene Hogan (nee McClain), 87, of Vermilion, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Akron Summa Health Systems Hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 17, 1931 in Jackson, TN and had been a Vermilion resident for 26 years also living in Bells, TN. Darlene was a member of First Baptist Church, Vermilion and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the piano, gardening, and traveling. She is survived by her son, Phillip (Debbie) Hogan of Vermilion; grandsons, Joshua Hogan of Amherst and Dustin (Erin) Hogan of Louisville, KY; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Richard McClain of Harrisburg, PA; and her sister, Sue Blomley of TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Paul Hogan in 1997; parents, Ernest and Bessie Mae (nee DePriest) McClain; and her brother, Ernest McClain, Jr. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, TN at a later date.
