Darlene Judith Stahl

Darlene "Judy" Stahl (nee Kukes), 65, of Vermilion, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a lenghty illness. Judy was born September 13, 1948 in Vermilion where she had been a life long resident. She worked as an assembler for Ford Motor Co., Lorain retiring after 30 years. Judy was a member of the UAW Local # 425. She enjoyed riding and showing horses, yard work, and flower gardening. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Raymond Stahl; and a niece who she considered her daughter, Freda Nelson of Saint Clair Shores, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Doris (nee Fleming) Kukes; brothers, Wallace and Timothy Kukes, and sister, Marilyn Anderson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jonathan Cheatham will officiate. Interment will follow at Birmingham Cemetery, Birmingham.
