Darren Woodrow Huber, 56, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Born on July 26, 1968, in Hillsboro, Illinois, Darren spent most of his life in Iowa before moving to Vermilion 11 years ago. He dedicated 27 years to Firestone in Iowa before continuing his career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for the past seven years.
Darren was a devoted family man who found joy in the simple moments-camping, playing games and cards, and being with his friends and family. A passionate football fan, he proudly cheered for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Brenda Dianne (nee Corder) Huber; children, Samuel Huber, Steven (Kate) Corder, Christopher Wright, Lora "Sis" Wright (Craig), and Rebbeca (Eric) Evans; his grandchildren, Michael Hall, Jarred (Haley) Hall, Ladia Evans, Luke, Madison, Olivia, Brian, Jackson and Connor Corder. He is also survived by his brother, Matthew Huber, best bud, Lenvil Jones, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Woodrow Huber, mother, Mildred Elaine Hubbard; paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Dorothy Huber; maternal grandparents, Godfrey and Lela May Hubbard; and many aunts and uncles.
Private services will be held.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Finley State Park, 25381 State Rt 58, Wellington, OH 44090., to honor the memories he made while camping.
