David W Barlow

David W.Barlow, 69, of Vermilion, died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a brief illness.

He was born July 31, 1953 in Toledo, OH and had been a life long Vermilion resident.

David was a veteran of the United States Army  serving during Vietnam.

David worked for Ford Motor Co. as an assembler for 34 years retiring in 2008.

He was a life member of VFW Post #7576 and AMVETS Post #22.  David attended Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion.  He enjoyed 4-wheeling with his children and grandchildren, and going on one tank trips with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cynthia (nee Hook) Barlow of Vermilion; daughter, Jackie (Joshua) Barlow of Vermilion; sons, David C. Barlow of Cleveland, and Christopher Ray (Brittany) Barlow of WA; grandsons, Johnny and Oliver Mason; and a sister, Linda  (Norman) Rak of North Ridgeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles William and Rosa Lee (nee Peterson) Barlow and a brother, Richard Charles Barlow.

Private family services will be held.
