David Lee Hamman, 59, of Vermilion , died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at University Hospitals of Cleveland after a lengthy illness. David was born August 29, 1956 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion resident. He graduated from Vermilion High School and had attended the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles and watching movies. David had worked for Crow Lumber and Burger King in Vermilion. He is survived by his mother, June (nee Market) Hamman of Vermilion; sister, Joan King of Vermilion; twin brother, James Hamman of Vermilion; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hamman and sister, Cheryl A. Haines. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 10:00 am until the time of a service at 11:00 am at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Reverend Jim Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
