David L. Kuba, age 52, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly at his home. David was born Dec. 17, 1961 in Elyria and had been a life long Vermilion resident. He most recently worked for PolyOne, Avon, but also worked at various jobs throughout his life. David enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. He was a gentle soul and always ready to help any friend in need. David will be greatly missed by his brothers, Scott L. Kuba, of Victorville, CA and Randee S. Kuba, of Vermilion; sister, Laurie L. Turner (Kuba); brother-in-law, Elbert E. Turner, of Vermilion; nieces, Chloe and Edin Kuba of California, Danielle Kuba of Maple Heights, and Ashley Turner of Mantua, OH; nephew Derek Kuba (wife Sara) of Vermilion; three great nieces, Madilyn, Nina and Olivia Saridakis, of Maple Heights; many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; companion, Darlene Santiago; and many close friends. David is preceded in death by his parents, Larry D. and Darlene M.(nee Towne) Kuba; paternal grandparents, Charles and Nina Kuba; and maternal grandparents, George and Virginia Towne. David's family will hold a memorial service celebrating his life in the spring of 2015. Time and place will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the David L. Kuba memorial fund has been set up at Lorain National Bank, 4455 Liberty Ave., Vermilion, OH 44089 to benefit the Saridakis children, Davids' great nieces.
