David Alan Peterson, 27 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Cleveland. He was born March 11, 1980 in Plattsburgh, NY and has been a Vermilion area resident since 2004 moving from Charleston, SC and Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a combat camera man and served during Operation Freedom. He worked for Fox 8 news in Cleveland as an engineering editor/technician. He was a member of N.A.B.E.T/CWA Local Union 42. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, video games, working out, and reading books. He was very creative and also enjoyed video editing, drawing, woodworking, and striving to develop different invention ideas. He especially enjoyed science fiction and spending time with his children. Survivors include his wife, Joelle Peterson (nee Danda); daughters, Corah Peterson, and Audrey Peterson son, Logan Peterson all at home; parents, Graham and Marsha (nee Bachard) Barton, sister, Katrina Barton of Katy, TX brother, Robert Peterson of Katy, TX; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 from 12 noon until the time of a memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH.
