David A. Stewart Sr.

David A. Stewart Sr. 68, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born August 16, 1951 in Lorain and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 1 1/2 years moving from Lorain. David worked as a Machinist for various companies including Duray and Buckeye Sheet Metal. He was also an accomplished musician and played the keyboard in many bands including Lynx and Flashback. David enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved being a grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diana (nee Rango) Stewart of Vermilion; sons, David(Melody) Stewart, Jr. of Elyria and Matthew (Breeanna) Stewart of Vermilion; grandchildren, Myah, Bayleigh, Chad, Aryonna, Keagan, and Roman; and his sister, Gayle Marshall.
