David Joseph Williams, 43, of Vermilion, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at MetroHealth Medical Center as the result of a tragic accident.
He was born September 20, 1982 in Cleveland, Ohio, and had made Vermilion his home for the past 15 years, moving from Cleveland.
David began his career with Goodyear Tire and later found his true calling as a tow truck operator. For the past 13 years, he was employed with L&M Towing in Vermilion, where he was known for his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. David truly loved what he did and took every opportunity to expand his knowledge and perfect his craft.
Outside of work, he had a passion for automobiles. He enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows whenever he could. Above all, David’s greatest joy was his family. He deeply loved his daughters and treasured every moment spent with them and his granddaughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Julia (Tyler Brady) Williams of Vermilion; his beloved granddaughter, Cecelia Brady; his son-in-law, Jacob Pickett; several cousins, and Lester Mayer, who was a father figure to David.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paige Marie Williams on March 6, 2026; his parents, Larry and Maureen (nee Dever) Williams; and his brother, Bert Williams.
