David Witkowski

David Witkowski, 69, of Vermilion, died Monday, July 15, 2024 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness.

He was born January 31, 1955 in Cleveland, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 15  years moving from Garfield Heights.

David worked in mechanical maintenance for 37 years at Worthington Steel

He enjoyed simple pleasures, being on the water, boating, fishing, and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Susan "Liz" ( nee Korzen) Witkowski;  son, Matthew (Jenny) Korzen, daughter, Lana (Steve) Baker, grandchildren, Courtney, Mallory, Wally, Charlie, siblings, Barbara (Jim), Richard (Connie),  Rosemary, Mary Ann,  Margaret, and Angela.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Adeline (nee Sniegowski) Witkowski; his  brother, Joseph  Witkowski, and brothers-in-law, Tommy and Ricky.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 11:00 until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
