Dawn M. Full

Dawn N. Full (nee Malson), was the only child born to Dr. Totten S. and Montros N. Malson in Akron, Ohio on January 28,1918. She graduated from Shaker Heights High School and Wittenberg College. In 1948 she married Ray Full (1918-1985), an accountant for Kishman Fish Company. Dawn and Ray purchased Kishman Fish Company in the early 1970's. Dawn was a member of the Vermilion United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion Boat Club,Vermilion College Club, Catawba Island Club, Lorain Country Club, 99 Women's Flight Club, Vermilion Education Foundation, and Vermilion Chamber of Commerce. She was a trustee of Lorain Community Hospital. As a civic leader, she supported many local causes including the Vermilion Family YMCA, Community Health Regional Foundation, and the Cleveland Orchestra and served on the Vermilion City Council. She also volunteered at the Vermilion Food Pantry. Following the death of Ray, Dawn traveled extensively internationally. Dawn is survived by her foster daughters, Carol Holp of Lorain and Barbara McAdams of Tennessee, five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to the groups Dawn supported: United Church of Christ Congregational, the Vermilion Family YMCA, the Lucy Idol School, Main StreetVermilion, Mercy Hospital in Lorain, and the Cleveland Orchestra. Visitation at the Riddle Funeral Home is on May 23, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and the United Church of Christ Congregational on May 24, 2019 from 10:00 until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
