Delbert Sharpless

Delbert L. Sharpless Jr., 68, of Vermilion, died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness. He was born July 28, 1953 in Lorain, OH and had most recently resided in Vermilion. Delbert graduated from Murray Ridge School and loved working at the Murray Ridge Workshop. He also enjoyed dancing, drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and working with tools. He is survived by his brothers, Frederick and Robert Sharpless,sisters, Carol, Mary, Lulu, Tina, and Jody; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Lucille M. (nee Shinski) Sharpless and his sisters, Betty, Roberta, and Shelia. Private services were held.
