Delores E. Busser

Delores Busser (nee Sugaski) 87, passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 at Kingston of Vermilion Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Delores was born on June 21, 1930 in Lorain, OH and grew up in Wellington and lived in Lorain, South Amherst, and Vermilion. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and attended the Cleveland Academy of cosmetology. She also worked alongside her husband Bernard for many years that owned and operated Busser Tire before starting her own business Busser Wallcovering. Delores was very artistic in interior design and would work with local contractors in preparing their new homes for open houses. She also enjoyed oil painting, ceramics, sewing, traveling and spending time with family. She is survived by daughters, Bernadette (Neil) Dorries of Birmingham and Shermane (Larry) Smith of Lorain; granddaughters, Heather (Doug) Halcomb, Brooke (Bob) Bates and Michele Halliwell; great grandchildren, Samantha, Jeremy, Connor, Grace, Jacob, Olivia, and Sawyer; and brothers, James and Richard Sugaski both of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bernard in 2014; and her parents Frank and Stella (nee Smith) Sugaski. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:00am at the funeral home. The Reverend Ron Brickner will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
