Dennis John Brudney, 77, of Vermilion, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Stein Hospice after a lengthy illness.
He was born October 4, 1948, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 50 years after moving from Pennsylvania.
Dennis graduated from Edinboro University, Pennsylvania and began his professional career as an Air Traffic Controller before continuing his service with the Department of Defense, where he worked in the Accounting and Finance Department until his retirement in 2007. An avid outdoorsman, Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, flying, and playing tennis. He cherished evenings spent going out to dinner with family and friends and had a lifelong love of sports-especially local athletics. Dennis was well known for volunteering his time keeping statistics for Vermilion High School sporting events.
