Dennis L. Cain

Dennis L. Cain Sr., 66, of Amherst, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky after a brief illness. Dennis was born July 17, 1951 in Fostoria, OH and had lived in Amherst for 10 years moving from Lorain. Dennis worked in shipping and receiving for Quebcor World/Quad Graphics for 18 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He is survived by wife of 48 years Linda Cain (nee Kaliszewski); sons, Dennis L. (Heather) Cain of Wakeman, Jack (Stacy Moody) Cain of Amherst, and John (Cindy) Cain of Amherst; grandchildren; great grandchildren; father and step mother, Richard and Constance Cain; brother, Richard Cain of Amherst; sister, Melissa Cain of CA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Cain (nee Demich); granddaughter, Briann; great grandson, Andrew; and sister in law, Sandy Cain. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Chaplain Beth McKee will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
