Dennis Coury

Dennis C. Coury, 52 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at his home after a short illness. He was born October 11, 1951 in Lorain, OH and had lived in Vermilion most of his life. Mr. Coury graduated from Vermilion High School and worked as a Painter for ProCoatings, Westlake. He was a member of Amvets Post #22, American Legion Post #4397, VFW Post # 7576, all in Vermilion, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Chris (nee Fagan) Coury; daughter, Jessica Coury of Philadelphia, PA; parents Glen and Lois (nee Derby) Coury, step-daughter; Beth Williams of Sheffield Lake, OH; step-sons, Greg and Matt Long of Vermilion; brothers, Glen Coury of Vermilion, and David Coury of Collins, OH and Sister, Cindy Frakes of Concord, OH. Friends may call Thursday Aug. 19, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Friday Aug. 20, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
