Dewayne Charles Gault

Dewayne Charles Gault, 36, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 30, 1986 in Elyria, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 15 years moving from Wakeman.

Dewayne worked for Wesleyan Village, Elyria as a Cook for the past 17 years.

Dewayne enjoyed watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Michigan Wolverines.  He also enjoyed camping and being in the outdoors.  His true love was spending time with his wife, his boys, and his pets.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Holly Fraley of Vermilion; sons, Josh Fraley and Jayden Fraley; parents, Keven and Diane (nee Shaffer) Wolford; sisters, Karelyn Randolf of Wakeman, Hannah (Rob) Rains of Collins, and Deven (Sean) Brady of Willard; maternal grandfather, Charles Shaffer of Elyria; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beatrice Shaffer and paternal grandfather, Edward Wolford.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
