Diane J. Hamrlik

Diane J. Hamrlik, 79, of Lorain, died Friday, April 28, 2023 at  Lorain Estates after a brief illness.

She was born April 16, 1944 in Ambridge, PA and had been a Lorain resident for the past 25 years moving from North Carolina.

She graduated from West Liberty State College.

Diane worked  as a dental hygienist for over 30  years retiring in 1998.

She was a member of  St. Thomas Church and its Ladies Guild in Sheffield Lake.  She was an original member of St. Peters Church.  She was also an member of the French Creek YMCA.  She enjoyed Tai Chi and was an instructor of Tai Chi at Lorain Estates.

She is survived by her siblings, James (MaryAnn) Hamrlik of NC,  Jeffery (Peggy) Hamrlik of AZ, and  Marilyn (Joe) Kapsch of  NC; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Mary (nee Gerega) Hamrlik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11 am at St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH 44053 with Father Craig Hovanec and Deacon Jim Hamrlik officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH.
