Dolores Igoe, born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on September 5, 1932, the only child of Cleve and Lucy Ross. She grew up on a ranch where she was exposed to nature and learned the joy of animals, particularly dogs and horses. Following high school, she enrolled at Wooster College as a voice major, where she met and married Robert Igoe, a fellow student. They both graduated in 1955 and a year later her husband was drafted into the Army and shipped to Germany for 18 months. Dolores joined him in Germany, where they welcomed their first child, Denise. A year after the Army stint, they welcomed their son, Cleve. For the next 17 years, she was a loving housewife, raising their children and moving as required by her husband's job. They spent a year in Buffalo, NY, one in Cleveland, OH, and 6 years in Toronto, Canada, before moving back to Ohio. She worked in their family's business until 2012 when her major ailments curtailed her activities. Her kind, pleasant, outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all the folks that knew her. At the request of her family, all services will be private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. www.riddlefuneralhome.com
