Dolores Mcgee

Dolores McGee (nee Lewin), 88, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Oak Hills Nursing Center, Lorain after a lengthy illness. She was born September 18, 1924 in Houlton, Maine and had been a El Segunda, CA resident before moving to Elyria in 2009. Dolores worked for Aerospace in California as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Jeanne (John) Simon of Elyria; granddaughters Christine (Jeremy) Ansell of Rapid City, SD, and Michelle Dongarra of Elyria; sister Joyce McMenamy of Globe, AR, and Evelyn Naegeli of Hawaii; 3 nephews; 1 niece. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry McGee in 1973, and parents Laurel and Mildred (nee Wakefield ) Lewin. There will be no visitation or services.
