Dolores Waite

Dolores Alaimo Waite, age 76, died peacefully in Chapel Hill, NC on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Dolores was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Joseph and Jennie Cirrincione Alaimo on August 12, 1931. Dolores resided in Huron, Ohio for many years before relocating to Chapel Hill to be near her daughter and help care for her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, dedicated mother and homemaker, and as a caring grandmother. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Ann Waite and her husband, Patrick J. Pudlo, of Chapel Hill, NC; her brother, Gregory Alaimo of Vermilion, OH; and her two grandchildren: Michael and Matthew Pudlo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Waite and her brother, Ronald Alaimo. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 6-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Closing prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 10:00 am followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Fr. Jim Holmer, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
