Donald "Red" M Morris

Donald M. "Red" Morris, 60, of Huron, died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after battling Leukemia for 10 years. Don was born March 15, 1959 in Lorain, OH. He had been a Huron resident for the past 29 years after moving from Vermilion. He graduated from Firelands High School class of "77. Don worked for Ford Motor Company, Lorain as a Lineman for 30 + years. He was a social member of VFW Post 7576. He loved making people laugh, working word puzzles, fishing, dancing, and music, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his wife, children, family, and socializing. He is survived by his wife, Celeste (nee McPhillips) Morris of Huron; his daughter, Michelle Morris of MN; a son, Donald Morris, Jr. of Huron; brothers, Thomas Morris Jr. of Elyria and Peter Morris of Oberlin; and sisters, Linda (Kent) Stauffer of LaGrange, Lori (Wally) Schulz of Dunedin, FL, and Kristine (Ray, Jr.) Sterk of Wakeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Donna (nee McCullaugh) Morris. Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at the VFW Post 7576 on Poorman Rd in Vermilion, OH from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
