Donald G. Van Reenen, 82, of Lorain, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Autumn Ages Nursing Home, Lorain. Donald was born March 2, 1932 in Marlinton, WV. He had been a Lorain resident for the past 10 years moving from New Philadelphia, Ohio. . Donald worked as a tow motor operator, worked in the shipping department and in factory follow up for Moen Inc., Elyria, Ohio. He was a member of Eagles Club. He is survived by his sister, Betty Jean Smith of Marlinton, WV, and friend, Norman "Dominic" R. Manges. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Elsie (nee Hull) Van Reenen and brothers, Glenn, Guy and John Garth. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton, WV. Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. Reverend Dave Merryman will officiate. Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio is entrusted with arrangements.
