Donald Shadle

Donald G. Shadle, 76, of Vermilion, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

He was born and raised in Sandusky and was a graduate of Perkins High School.  He attended Bowling Green State University where he met his "Falcon Flame", his wife of 55 years, Paula.

He worked as both an Industrial Engineer and Packaging Engineer for several local companies including Moen, Nordson, Ridge Tool, Invacare, and Lincoln Electric.

After retiring he enjoyed biking, boating, traveling to the Carolinas, woodworking and reading.  He enjoyed spending time and sharing these interests with his grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Wm. L and Mary Shadle, brother Wm. L. Shadle, Jr., daughter Michele Lee Shadle, and his grandsons Joshua James Shadle and Brendon Lee Shadle.

He is survived by his wife, Paula (Shugar) Shadle; sons, Gregory D. Shadle and Jeffery S. (Brittany) Shadle and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
