Doris L. Haines

Doris L. Haines (nee Cosgray), 82, formally of Vermilion, died Dec. 20, 2012, at her son's home in Wellington after a lengthy illness. Doris was born November 24, 1930 in Beachbottom, WV, She had been a Vermilion resident since 1953 moving from Hundred, WV. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Vermilion. She was also a member of Bow and Barrel Archery Club, and she enjoyed golfing, talking with friends, quilting and making fudge. She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael Jacob (Debbie) Haines of Vermilion and Mark Eliot (Cathy) Haines of Wellington; grandchildren, Heidi Marie (Nick) Anthony, Amanda Joy Haines, Justin Wade (Desiree) Carroll and Austin Michael Haines; great grandchildren, Hunter and Parker; sisters, Martha Ann Shifflett of Frederick, MD, and Thelma Jacobson of W. Redding, Connecticut and sister- in- law, Vickie (Ken) Schmidt of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie in 2000; parents, Hugh and Lottie (nee Rose) Cosgray; sisters, Louise Morris and Norma Williams and brothers, John Edward Cosgray, Charlie Cosgray and Donald Cosgray. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m.at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
